Commuter Programs

Members

Don't forget to start logging your commutes starting August 1st.  The first prize drawing will take place on Friday, August 8th.  Each time you report using an alternative mode of transportation during the previous week, you'll be entered into a drawing for one of 50 $25 gift cards to the Tattered Cover.

Welcome to

Unconventional Commuters

Welcome to the Downtown Denver Partnership's Unconventional Commuters (UC) program.  UC is designed to reward Downtown Denver employees who are already using alternative transportation to get to work.  Each time you ride your bike, walk, use transit, carpool or vanpool during the month of August, you'll be entered into a drawing for a variety of fantastic prizes that we'll be giving away every week in August.  At the end of each week we'll randomly draw winners for prizes like a new bike, iPod, or $100 VISA Gift Cards.  Remember, the more times you leave your car at home, the more chances to win.

Here's how to Join:
Step 1: Review the Program Guidlines then click "Join Now" to register for the program.  Anyone can register, but only Downtown Denver employees (working 20 hours or more, within the 80202 zip code) will be eligible to win prizes.
Step 2:  Starting August 1st, login and visit the Commute Log on the left side of this page at least every 3 days to log your commutes.  If we don't know how you are getting to work, we can't enter you into the drawings.
Step 3: Each recorded trip using an alternative mode of transportation (using transit, bicycling, walking, carpooling, vanpooling or teleworking) will represent a Participant’s entry into the weekly prize drawings.  And at the end of each week, we'll draw names of the winners!

If you've already joined, here's how to log your commutes:
Step 1: Click on "Login" and use the email address and password you choose when you registered for Unconventional Commuters.
Step 2: Click on "Commute Log" to bring you to the page where you'll log your commutes and tell us how you are getting to and from work.  Once you've reached the Commute Log, enter the mode you used to to get to work and the total number of miles for your commute and then click on "Save Your Log."  Please note, if you use different modes of transportation to get to and from work, please to see both legs of the commute and you will have the option of entering information for your trip to and from work.
